Morgan Gets Mugged

We recently had a new family move into the neighborhood and they brought with them a young medium-sized dog (Sabre).

Sabre is a black dog with brown highlights, is about thigh-high, and has an amazing amount of energy.  He has stopped by a few times to say hello and Morgan has had a few close encounters with him.

Yesterday I was on the phone and the door suddenly swung open.  When I looked, there was Sabre poking his nose into the office.

He casually waltzed into the house, crossed the office, went up into the living room, saw Morgan standing there with her stuffed elephant, gave her a lick up the face, and while she was distracted grabbed her elephant and ran out the dining room door.

Morgan thought this was terrific!

She immediately took chase (with Beth in pursuit) and ended up on the front lawn running back and forth trying to get her elephant back.

Beth finally succeeded in getting it back by putting Sabre into a headlock and prying the elephant out of his mouth (a little bit wetter than it started out) and Sabre immediately went for the next stuffed toy.
