Prank Calls
While I was changing Morgan today she was playing with one of our phones.
I didn’t think anything of it as it was keeping her amused while I was dealing with the business end of things. Then I heard this tinny voice repeating and it took me a minute to figure out that it wasn’t coming from one of her toys.
Apparently she had called UBC Engineering. Oops.
I seem to recall Brandi, Jon, and Isobel having a similar encounter with 911.
Ask Jon how many times Mason called him from our cell phone. Somehow Jon was listed as a VIP in our phone, which meant that you could press almost any three buttons and end up dialing him.
One time I was babysitting Talia and Kaden. Talia loved to play with the phone (she was 2). Suddenly, there were bright lights in the driveway, a loud banging on the door, and a very sullen police officer demanding entrance. Apparently she had dialed 911 and we were graced with an official visit. The house was searched and Grandma had some fast explaining to do. The kids were thrilled – I wasn’t!!
