March Growth Spurt
omehow Morgan seems to have grown overnight. Just last week when she was learning to crawl up the stairs she needed to be up on her tip toes in order for her knees to get on to the next stair. This week she doesn’t need to go up on her tip toes because her knees are above the stairs all ready.
Apart from growing like crazy Morgan had a big weekend. It started with a lovely Tea with the Stulkens. Unfortunately it was the first time she decided she wouldn’t be happy with someone other than Mom and Dad. After a wonderful Saturday morning where Morgan let us sleep in we finally got into the yard to start our yard work. Morgan came out and helped her daddy plant a couple of trees. As you can see from the above picture she also got her first taste of dirt.
It was great seeing her crawling all around the yard.
Check out some of the pictures from the last couple of weeks:

The Newest Developments
No, it’s not sleeping thru the night
(although she seems to be slightly better the last few days)
Today Morgan decided that she would take a big developmental leap by showing us she can sit on her own, and by showing us how she is getting ready for crawling!!
Visit with Ross and Fiona

Ross Delivers a Wicked Left Hook
We had a great visit with Ross and Fiona today that we’ve been looking forward to for over 2 years.
Last Christmas they got snowed in so we were unable to have a proper catch-up.
They were the first people to visit Morgan in the hospital and so, six months later, they got to see just how far she’s come.
She decided that today is the day to make some serious headway: first lurch FORWARD while crawling, first mostly unassisted sit-up, and at the end of the day, a non-stop barrage of talking.
Thank you for the beautiful gifts (very much unnecessary, but very appreciated).
