Sixth Month
Another month down and things are different in so many ways except the one that we really want. Morgan still isn’t sleeping well, in fact it seems like the older she gets the worse she sleeps. She seems to be stubborn like Mommy and Daddy so we can’t even let her cry it out. The several times we tried, she just cries for hours until we finally cave and go to her. Oh well, what can you do?

She is almost sitting up on her own now and she’s also starting to stick her bum in the air. It’s amazing how much she can get around the room even though she’s not crawling yet. She can push herself around when she’s on her back with her feet, or when she’s on her tummy with her arms.
A few Firsts:
★ Eating Peas, Sweet Potatoes, Carrots, and Beans
★ Piece of Puffed Wheat
★ Visit to Strong Start
★ Getting her soother into her mouth by herself
★ Bathtime with Daddy
★ Time in snowsuit
★ Wiggling around the room on her own
★ Vomiting session (not as fun at the other firsts)
Here are a few pictures to enjoy.
Fifth Month
We survived another month!
This little terror (oops, I mean angel) has had some astounding growth in the last month. She’s up to 15 lbs and has the smiling personality of a Mafia Don. She’s all smiles and giggles right up until the point where she jams her hands in your mouth and rips off your lips. Beth is covered in scratches from those sharp little razor claw.
We had a fantastic first Hallowe’en where Morgan dressed as Futurama’s Nibbler, and true to her namesake, she tried to eat all of the leaves in the backyard.
She has made the transition to solid foods. Our goal this month is to really push this as she is still not sleeping through the night. Maybe it’ll work.
She’s become a University girl. We took her to some of my classes and we finally had to ban her and mom for being so disruptive.
See some of the pictures here.
Some First’s:
★ Hallowe’en
★ University Enrollment
★ Shopping trip to Vancouver (and ride on the Granville Island Ferry)
★ Day with Daddy
★ Eating Solids
★ Bath in the Big Bathtub
Solids and Bathtime
W
e’ve been having trouble with Morgan not wanting to sleep for long stretches so last night we decided to try her on solid food for the first time!!
As you will be able to see it went pretty well. She was very interested in getting the spoon into her mouth, but whether she actually got any food past her mouth is another matter.
We also gave Morgan her last bath in the little baby bathtub so there are some pictures of just how big she is in there now too.

Fourth Month
Here we are again and Morgan is another month older. She is generally a very happy little girl.
We thought we were doing better with her sleeping, but lately she’s been up far too often during the night. I guess we will get there eventually.
This little, or not so little (Morgan is now 14 1/2 lbs and 25″ long), girl wants so badly to be able to do more. She is constantly trying to sit up, but not quite there yet. She’s growing up so fast!
First’s:
★ Time rolling over
★ Visit from Lisa from Germany
★ Time watching sign language
★ Visit from Marc and Hamid
★ Time falling asleep in the Jolly Jumper
★ Sitting up in her stroller (she was propped up but it still counts)
★ Gardening with Mom and Dad
★ Scary movie (also the last one for a long time)
Third Month
W
much bigger baby who’s starting to do all kinds of neat things. She weighing in at about 13 lbs.
We are now starting to get settled into some sort of routine with work and baby. Morgan is starting to sleep longer, we are getting a good 5 hours at a stretch at night.
Morgan is loving Tummy Time and is getting very close to rolling over for the first time. With the way she’s moving when she’s on the floor we’re pretty sure that crawling won’t be too far behind!
I’m sure that we will be kept on our toes a lot in the next month.

First’s:
★ Shots
★ Smile at Mom and Dad
★ Baby talk
★ Laugh
★ Spin in the Jolly Jumper
★ Smile at a toy
★ Sleep for 7 hours
★ Theme Costume Party
★ Gaming Outfit
